Haul: This and That =) & NOTD

Hello guys, I'm finally back! I can't tell how much I missed my blog, with all my beautiful friends =D I tried to go online as often as I could, but there is still so much to catch up on!
Meanwhile, I got my hands on some nice stuff. First, I'm going to show you the Rimmel London polishes I got.


From Left to Right: Night Flight, Trend Spotting, Best In Show, Reality Chic, Beige Babe.
Only skipped one color, which didn't appeal to me at all. Beige Babe is the warmest taupe I own. Night Flight is a very, very, very dark purple, and Best In Show is just gorgeous and the most unique from the bunch. Ain't those polishes just perfect for fall?
Then I ran around looking for Chanel Paradoxal. When I asked a few weeks ago, a store clerk said that the Chanel Fall collection will arrive in September. But now I'm learning that it has already arrived in August. And Paradoxal is sold out everywhere. I was getting crazy, but then I found this babe!
Take a look, ladies, I'm showing you the first true Paradoxal dupe to be sold =) It's by Sevilla, a local brand. Sevilla just loves to copy Chanel polishes. First they did Particuliere, and now they did Paradoxal! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them side by side on my nail, they are dupes! The only difference I spotted is that the base color of Sevilla is a teeny tiny bit lighter, and the shimmer is more prominent on the nail, which is a good thing =) But the difference is almost non-existent, even under strong light, so there is no reason not to call this a dupe.


I got two bottles of it for $9 =) And they are 14 ml together, so WIN!
The other Sevilla is a beautiful dove grey with a hint of lavender.
Finally, I got my hands on two Catrice and some Essence nail art stuff, with help of Jeanette =) I love the Essence glitter, they are lovely! And how adorable is Fimo fruit!

Finally, I have Rimmel London Reality Chic for you. It's a beautiful reddish brown, or should I say brownish red? To me it looks darker than Zoya Cola and OPI I'm Suzi and I'm a Chocoholic, but it's along the same line. Sorry, I can't think of a more suitable color from the past because I don't really invest in these colors. This one might be called Falu Red, I guess. =)

Merhaba arkadaşlar, sonunda tatilden döndüm =) Hepinizi çok özledim! Olabildiğince sık internete girmeye çalışsam da, evim gibi olmadı işte. Bu arada, yeni ojeler aldım, hepsini göstereceğim =)
Öncelikle Rimmel London'un yeni çıkan ojelerini aldım. Bunları Watsons mağazalarında bulabilirsiniz, özellikle Best In Show mükemmel. Bu koleksiyon sonbahar için çok uygun.
Sonra Chanel Paradoxal'ı aramaya başladım. Hiçbir yerde kalmamış. Sözde henüz Türkiye'ye gelmemişti, ama başka bir yerde geleli bir buçuk ay olduğunu söylediler. Neyse, ben böyle ararken Sevil'e girdim ve muhteşem bir sürprizle karşılaştım. Sevilla, Paradoxal'ın aynısını yapmış! Oje no'su 144, lütfen gidin ve alın =) Sonra bana teşekkür edin =) Ben iki tane aldım, 14 lira verdim. Normalde Chanel 56 lira. =D Bir de çok güzel gri bir ojesini aldım. Ama bu oje Claire's de varmış, hem de yarı fiyatına. Haberiniz olsun.
Bir de Almanya'dan arkadaşım Jeanette bana ilk Catrice ojelerimi yolladı. Açık yeşil olan başka bir meşhur Chanel ojesinin aynısı. Yani Jade'in. Bugünü Chanel'i ucuza kapatma günü ilan ediyorum =)
Son olarak, tırnağımda yeni aldığım Rimmel London Reality Chic var. Bu renk, kırmızıya kaçan kahverengi, ya da kahveye kaçan kırmızı. Biraz koyu bir renk, ama sonbahar için çok uygun. Ben bu tip renkleri pek almam, ama bu seri çok hoşuma gitti, ve bu renk de bir istisna değil.
Döndüğüme çok seviniyorum, hepinize iyi geceler diliyorum =)

NOTD: Daddy's Girl & Vacation

Hello everyone =) I'm going on vacation this week. I guess I won't be answer your comments till next Sunday, but I will try to check my e-mail regularly, so if you have any urgent matter to discuss, please contact me via e-mail =) (See sidebar.)
I have one last manicure to show before I leave. It's Sinful Daddy's Girl layered over some purple polish, because Daddy's Girl is sheer on its own.
Daddy's Girl is a gorgeous polish, it has a dark purple base with pink & gold flecks. Think Zoya Julieanne, I think they're really close. OK, they have nothing to do with each other! =D

Gitmeden önce göstereceğim son manikür, Sinful Daddy's Girl. Daddy's Girl, koyu mor, içinde pembe ve altın rengi ışıltılar olan bir oje. Ben başka bir mor ojenin üzerine sürdüm, çünkü kendi başına opak olması için çok kat sürmek gerekiyor.

NOTD: Avon Green With Envy

Today, I have Avon Green With Envy to show you.
Green With Envy is a very, very dark forest green. It looks almost black in dim light, but in daylight or under strong light, it's definitely green. It reminds me of a blackboard.


The color can be described as Medium Jungle Green. The formula is great, opaque in two coats, dries quickly and very glossy.


I used teardrop shaped glitter from the Essence glitter mix to form a flower, and put a single gold glitter by Viva La Nails in the middle.


Essence glitter mix contains some beautiful stuff, I adore the peacock-like colors, I can't wait to use them with my new polishes when I receive my haul =)

Bugün size Avon Green With Envy'i göstereceğim.
Green With Envy, çok koyu, maviye bakan bir yeşil. Loş ışıkta siyah gibi görünse de, gün ışığında ya da normal parlak ışık altında yeşil olduğu bariz belli oluyor. Renk olarak bana karatahta yeşilini anımsatıyor =)
Ojenin formülü harika, iki katta opak oluyor ve çabucak kuruyor. Aynı zamanda ıslak görünümlü.
Essence Glitter Mix setinin yeşil pullarını kullanarak bir çiçek yaptım ve ortasına da Viva La Nails'in gönderdiği altın rengi pullardan koydum.
Essence Glitter Mix'in içinde çok güzel mavi ve yeşil pullar var, tavuskuşu rengi gibi. Son ojelerim ve disklerim biran önce gelse, çok güzel planlarım var =)

NOTD: Vampy Cherry

When I first applied OPI Black Cherry Chutney a few months ago, I thought it was more trouble than it was worth, so I left it in my drawer to collect dust. Today I felt the urge to put on something vampy, and when my eyes fell on the bottle, I decided to give it another chance.


Black Cherry Chutney is a dark reddish purple base with burgundy shimmer. Although it sounds adorable, the shimmer is only truly visible under strong light. I had trouble to capture the shimmer with my camera, so the pictures were sharpened a bit to make it more visible. The color is a very dark Dark Scarlett, maybe a tiny bit reddish. It's opaque in two coats, and dries very fast.
The following pictures were taken with flash to show the shimmer, sorry for the harshness.



I added some konad using local brand silver polish and m13.
September has just arrived, and the weather has already dropped 5ºC. I guess fall is calling me, you might want to expect some darker colors in the following days =)
Oh, and my last haul can't arrive soon enough, soo excited! =)

OPI'nin Black Cherry Chutney isimli ojesini birkaç ay önce ilk sürdüğümde, elde ettiğim sonuçla çektiğim zorluğu kıyaslayıp, "Eeeeh, değmez..." şeklinde bir karara varmıştım. O günden beri bu oje çekmecede tozlanarak çile dolduruyordu. Bugün içimden koyu renk bir oje sürmek geçince, gözüm bu şişeye takıldı. Ben de ona bir şans daha vermeye karar verdim.
Black Cherry Chutney, koyu bordo/mor arası, içinde koyu kırmızı ışıltılar olan bir oje. Kulağa muhteşem gelse de, ışıltılar pek belirgin değil. Kamerayla ışıltısını yakalamak kolay olmadı, ben de görünür olması için resimleri biraz keskinleştirdim. Oje iki katta opak oldu ve çok çabuk kurudu.
Resimlerin son iki tanesi flaşla çekildi, göz yoran resimler oldukları için özür diliyorum.
Son olarak Flor Mar #112 ile m13 diskindeki gül desenini uyguladım.
Sonbaharın ilk günüyle beraber hava sıcaklığı aniden 5 derece kadar düştü. Sanırım sonbahar renkleri beni çağırıyor, önümüzdeki günlerde benden koyu renkli ojeler bekleyebilirsiniz =) Ayrıca yeni ojelerimin gelmesini dört gözle bekliyorum!

From The Vault: Ruby

I am too sleepy to come up with a creative title. Something NOT Ruby related. Or Dorothy's shoes.
Here is Pastel #32, a warm red polish with lots of fine red glitter. Looks like this could be an alternative for China Glaze Ruby Pumps. This time the polish is layered over Inglot mint green from the first unsuccessful swatching, but it quickly becomes opaque on its own, too.



It's a jaw-droppingly gorgeous polish. I love glittery reds so much.

Geçen gün nane yeşili Inglot ojeyi sürüp bozduktan sonra, sinirlenip üzerine Pastel #32 sürdüm. Çok güzel parlak kırmızı, içinde minik kırmızı simler olan bir oje. Hatta China Glaze Ruby Pumps alternatifi olduğunu bile iddia edebilirim. Burada başka oje üzerine sürmüş olsam da, kendi başına da kolaylıkla opak oluyor.
Muhteşem güzel bir oje. Gidin alın. Beğenmezseniz gelin kafama atın, ya da nazikçe verin, ben kullanırım =)
