From The Vault: Fruit Love

Hi guys. I still have the pale yellow polish on, so here is a yummy manicure from the vault to feast your eyes on.
I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lickety Split Lime as my base color. Now, everyone and their grandma is raving about wide brushes, but personally, I hate them. I hate OPI pro-wide, I hate Sally Hansen Salon Line brush, I hate Insta-Dri brush... They are so ginormous! They drive me crazy! Maybe I'm the one who's not capable of using them correctly, but I must say I prefer a too-narrow-brush to a too-wide one. /end rant
This shade is more Spring Bud than Lime. Beautiful color, one-coater, great as stamping color, crazy-fast drying time, yet horrible brush. Maybe I'll love this one more with another brush.

I konaded using Konad green polish and disks m55 & m18. Aaaand that's all for today.

Selam millet.

  9. I can't stand the brushes on these, either. Not only are they wide, but they're cut weird. Hate it. But I really love this color, so I might have to suck it up and buy it anyway

  12. @Freshie so true! And that oval shape is horrible for the cuticle area!
    Thank you, @Katrina =) I wish I could love them, too! =D
@Shanna, a nice alternative would be Sinful Innocent. I hate the shape of the Sally Hansen wide brush. Even OPI is better =)

  22. i haven't found a salon brush that I love yet. I love the sally hansen salon fat brushes...but I only own hidden treasure and it's a top coat so it doesn't really count since if I mess up no one can tell . I just like it because I can quickly apply hidden treasure on and it's all done no clean up needed.

so far I like china glaze's brushes. i think zoyas a bit too think for me. what brushes do you like the best?

  23. Thank you @Tassa and @Lily nail =)
@shortwidenails, being a China Glaze fan, I like their brushes the best. Orly and Essie brushes are nice too, and Zoya worked well on my moderately wide nail beds. I had some trouble with Illamasqua, and I'm not in friendly terms with OPI brushes. That's all, I guess =)
