NOTD: Black & Gold

I have so many butterfly manicures, I find it hard to come up with a creative title. But anyway, here is today's manicure, black creme base with golden butterflies on top, and also some gold glitter from Viva La Nails to mark their trail. The black base is from She, another local band. (That one with the star-shaped bottles.)

Butterflies are from plate m25, and they were stamped with Flor Mar Nail Art polish in NA09. Those nail art polishes are opaque enough in one stroke, that means they're good for konad, too.
Here is a comparison of NA09, China Glaze 2030 and Konad Special Gold polish.

As you can see, China Glaze does the most opaque and visible stamping, and is warmer than NA009, which is darker and more of a neutral gold. NA009 stamps pretty visible on both black and white, too. The poorest of all is Konad Special Gold, which is actually dense shimmer in a sheer base when looked closely, and that prevents it from being opaque.

Bugünün manikürü She siyah oje üzerine altın kelebekler.

  1. Your manicures are always so flawless. I love it! And I also love the white/gold combo. Gotta try it once. I knew that China Glaze is better than Konad polishes. That's the main reason I got this 2030 shade. And I love it too!

  2. @Sasha, China Glaze Khromes and Romantiques are unbeatable when it comes to Konad. Konad's own gold and silver are so sheer, it's ridiculous!
You like the white & gold combo? I was thinking about doing a pale mint & gold one =) or pale blue & gold! =D I love gold combined with stark, pale colors.
    Thank you, btw <3<3<3

  13. Deniz, you can try to use Golden Rose nail art polish for Konad. I use it every time for golden decorations, because 2030 dries very fast and Konad special polish was great disappointment for me, its too transparent.

  15. Thank you and @Pretty @Jillian! =)
@Pampita, it's so annoying we don't have those nail art stuff by Golden Rose here, they make so many things for international market, and not for their own country! Maybe they can bring them here since their rivals have come up with nail art polishes right now. I hate Golden Rose's marketing. No holos, no fish scales, no nail art pen for us. =(

  21. Loooooove the mani! The combo is really beautiful.
That's pretty much interesting why konad's the most sheer :)Turns out, not the best for stamping!

  23. i wish i knew how it compared to china glaze passion. hmm..

  24. @shortwidenails, China Glaze Passion is not as warm as 2030, imagine a lighter version of the Flor Mar. I don't have that polish to show you, though =/
