NOTD: Love Is In The Air

This totally started off as a non-Valentine's Day manicure, but somehow it managed to turn into one, which was totally not my intention =)
I wanted to copy the pattern of dad's binder, burgundy diagonal stripes on bright red. I used Essence Stampy plate and Konad's Wine Red over Essie Flirt. Then I realized that some parts of the pattern looked incomplete (my fault) and that there was dust caught in the topcoat (which I always hate). So I stamped little white hearts from m18 over the faulty parts. The result = an unintended Valentine's Day Manicure =)



Pictures were taken with flash, because both my cameras went berserk trying to capture the coral & dark red combination. =/

Bu manikür aslında Sevgililer Günü ile o kadar alakasız bir fikirden doğdu ki, nasıl bu hale geldi ben de anlamadım =)
Bilgisayarda yazı yazarken gözüme takılıp duran babamın mercan rengi/bordo verev çizgili dosyası, ve acaba hangi ojeleri kullansam aynı görüntüyü elde ederim diye düşündüğümü farketmem sonucu yaptığım bir manikür bu. Essie Flirt üzerine konad şarap rengi oje ve Essence Stampy diskindeki verev çizgi desenini kullandım. Ama desenin bazı kısımlarının eksik çıkması (benim hatam) ayrıca cilanın içine ara sıra kaçan tozlar yüzünden (nefret ederim) hatalı yerlere m18 diskindeki kalpleri beyaz ile damgaladım. Sonuç = neye niyet neye kısmet Sevgililer Günü manikürü =)
Resimler flaşla çekildi, çünkü iki kameram da renkleri yakalamaya çalışırken saçmaladı. =/

    I just love your nail designs. They're so creative. I'm not that talented in designing my nails. Unfortunately only normal nail polish. I don't get good results with stamping on my nails :( ;)

    Superpretty, love the fact that you used another shade of red over red, it seems so easy and safe to always go for black or white. When are you ever going to come to The Netherlands?! You NEED to do my nails!!1!11!!! ♥

    I really like the red and burgundy stripes! It looks almost like an applique or an artificial nail (and that's a good thing because that means it's flawless!) :P
