NOTD: Pretty Pretty Nails

Hello Ladies and Gents, if there are any =) Today I have a set of very girly and cute nails to show. I used China Glaze IV as a base. It's from their Anniversary collection, and I realized that not many people have noticed this little beauty. IV is a carnation pink creme, very light and pretty. It's one of my favorite polishes. Then I stamped the ribbon design from m56 across each nail, and filled the space underneath with polka dots from plate m45. I used Konad special polish in white for the designs. Finally I blinged the ribbons with clear rhinestones.

By the way, I'm starting to get used to this nail length. But I want to ask you guys anyway, which nail length do you think suits me the best?

1.

2.

3.

4.

I'd appreciate your feedback!

  1. I like length one on you. It's a nice maintainable length that looks good on you and will be easier for your fans/followers to associate with.

Love the diamantes in the bows they are absolutely adorable.

  2. I like the length on the Inglot or the Claire's. Sorry, i know it's the extremes...but i don't think i like the intermediate lengths. Obviously, it's whatever you like, though.

  3. Personally i like the first length best. I always just prefer shorter nails :)

  4. I would say your NOTD length, or length 1. And that is such a cute mani.

  5. Lovveee the pink look! Its just so darling!

    ReplyDelete
  6. i like the short ones better

    ReplyDelete
  7. that is too cute!! :) and i like the length of #1.

  8. Honestly I think they all look good on you. So the question is what do you love? Do you need a change for a while? They'll grow back if you keep them short and if you grow them longer you can always file them back.

    Love the girly mani!

  9. Loving the shorty nails on you!

  10. Adorable! Your manicure makes me happy! <3

You can wear just about any nail length well. Go with what you feel in the mood for. I do love seeing long nails on other blogs, but I would like your nails short or long.

  11. I like #1 length and the pretty nails are so sweet looking! Very cute, I like it a lot.

  12. I really like the short nails! Length 1!

  13. I agree with EvilAngel and paintedladyfingers. I would love to see some pictures of you in everyday outfits though to get a better sense of your overall look.

  14. I adore the color and the Konad...very Fresh and girly!

*Your nails look fantastic any length, however, since you asked, #3. I would go with what *you* like and don't pay any attention to opinions, especially mine...I'm an extremist (lol).

  15. I'm pleased to see that the other Katrina agrees with my assessment! I prefer the shorter length as well, and I agree too that it's probably a more common length for your readership (and at the very least for me!).

  16. I like them at all lengths. Once you wear them long, it's hard to get used to them short, but they are really cute that way. The longer the nail, the more dramatic, I think. Wear 'em how YOU like them depending on you feel. Sometimes you'll like them long and other times you'll like them shorter.
If you wear them long though, I don't recommend you play any Frisbee. It's really bad for long nails.

  17. wow.. thats pretty in pink.. i like ur nails in long...;))

  18. Hmm. I like nail leght number 2 best but that's just me :)

  19. All your nail states look good (what a lame reply). Of course, I have a preference for short ones (first pic) but of course it is MY preference. The most important is how YOU you feel (because the way we grasp things change and nails are not ony about what they look, right?). I've had in the idea lately to get my nails long like when I was a teenager, just for fun - just to remember how it was and how I looked. So I let them grow now but I know I'll fastly find this feeling that I never truly like: being always obliged to be careful of my nails and how I threat things. Long nails to me put a distance between my hands and the world (if you think I'm crazy, I won't be astonished). There's something easy and cute in short nails.

I never noticed this pink indeed. I have too much bubblegum pink and need colors like that. They're apeasing, comforting. <3

I hope you're well, Deniz. I have the feeling to lose touch with everyone and that I speak to no one on my blog, it's so weird. :D That'll eventually pass. I send you tons of good vibes!

  20. Love your konadicure Deniz! =)

I love every nail length on you but my favorite would be length 2 with the squoval shape of length 3 but this is only my personal taste. :)

  21. Definitely number 1. I've been trying to keep myself from commenting that short to mid-length nails look much better on you but now that you've asked... Nevertheless your Lubu manicure is a true work of art :)

  22. How sweet NOTD! :)

    I like number 3 the most. :D

    ReplyDelete
  23. Gosh, picture 1!! That's the length I like the most! I like the others too, though, you have such lovely hands.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I like 1 & 2 :) i also LOVE this konad design i wish i was better at Konading

    ReplyDelete
  25. I love this cute Konadicure :D I like 1, 2 and 3. 4th one is too long for my liking but if you think it is good then it is good ;)

    ReplyDelete
  26. If I do have to chose, I would say length 1 suits you best. I adore your NOTD! Such a cute idea to add rhinestones to the bows! Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Aww, thank you so much for the comments, suggestions & good vibes, guys =))) I really appreciate all your feedback! I think I will let them grow in time, because they will break anyway. And then I'll know that people also like to see them short, and I won't feel bad =) But I'm thinking about filing them to keep this length for a while =)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Your mani is absolutely gorgeous! I prefer length 1, it suits you very well :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Wow, it is so sweet, and I like 1# too. It is girly and cute.

    ReplyDelete
  30. And I will try this design, but first I need to buy a light pink polish.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hey! So I like length 1 and 2 the most. I want to like 3 but I think my own personal experience with long nails makes me have a bias opinion against them. My nails are to soft to be that long. They would bend back all the time. Painful! But either way, your nails look great and have an amazing shape.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Love the first one as well. And the length works perfectly for such an adorable manicure!

I stumbled upon this blog 2 weeks back and it totally inspired me to buy a Konad starter kit. LOVE IT!

    ReplyDelete
  33. thank you Lissi and M =) Also for your suggestions! They definitely help me consider and also feel confident about my current nail length =)

  35. Ben konadikur tercih ediyorum. Inanilmaz guzel bu dizayn ellerine saglik gene cok guzel olmus.
Bence tirnak boylarinin hepsi guzel. Ben sahsen tirnaklarimi fazla uzatamiyorum. Ama senin boyle bir sansin varken ben derim ki her boyutu kullan =)
Tirnak boylarini once uzat sonra yavas yavas kes.. Boylece hepsini denemis olursun.. Yada tam tersi kes onlar uzarken her boyut olur =)

  37. I definitely like your length @ #4 best. This konad is so fabulous, I'm in love with it!

    ReplyDelete
  38. oh fudge! I meant length #1, not #4 :P I love shorter nails. I think they looks tasteful.

    ReplyDelete
  39. super cute design...i just might have to copy that! as for nail length...i like #2

    ReplyDelete
  40. I like #1 and #2. They are both good lengths. Love the designs.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Well I just love short nails so I'm going with #1 but they look really good in #4 too..LOL

    ReplyDelete
  42. Such a beautiful design!!

    This length suits you well.
But I love the length from the third picture :)

    ReplyDelete

  44. I think both 1 and 4 suit your hands nicely!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am completely in love with this cute pink mani! Totally adorable. :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. This mani is so cute!! Your hands look good with short nails; anyway my favourite lenght is #2. Also #3 and 4 look great but when they are that long you have to be very careful when touching/grabbing/cleaning...Not for me!
BTW I mentioned your blog here, hope you don't mind!

  48. beautiful pink nails ! I love long nails so I prefer the 3rd pic or the 4th !

    ReplyDelete
  49. thank you Ophelie =D I knew you'd say that! =DDD

  50. Wowww gorgeous! Sooo cute and adorable!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I like your no. 1 length with your yellow nail polish which I think is your current length. I think.

    ReplyDelete
  52. To be honest I think you need to have the length of your nails somewhere between 3 and 4. That way we can get an honest opinion of the nail polishes on your nails because we will have a larger swatch and you also have more of a canvas for your nail art.

Love your blog and keep up the amazing work your are doing

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'm fairly new to your blog, but I'm partial to the shortest of the 4 lengths.

    ReplyDelete
  54. i agree with origami about the nail length and that is such a pretty design

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ahh so cute! I never understand how people don't run over the first stamp when adding the second design. How did you place the polka dots so neatly and accurately without stamping over the bows?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hello Jessica =) It's actually pretty easy! First I stamped the bow, which is an arched design. It leaves a gap below, which is also arched. The french tips on m45 fit perfectly =) I just stamp a bit farther from the design, leaving a tiny gap. But even if it overlaps, it's not really noticable once you add topcoat, because they're the same color =)
I hope this helped a bit!

    ReplyDelete
  57. so cute! i made a design like yours, check on my blog.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Wow I really love your nails they look gorgeous in all the pics I love the variety, who wants teh same nails all the time? boring! I'm loving rounded dark vampy nails at the mo.

    ReplyDelete
  59. your short nails are so pretty!!!
how do you do the dots and the bow? is it like paper pasted with trasparent nail polish?? do you use a special brush for the dots?

    its sooo cute!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Omg too cute!!! Madly in love with it.
I honestly think all lengths suit you, from short to long.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I know I'm in minority in this opinion when surrounded by nail blogger, but I love, love, love short nails!

I have probably said this already, but they make all manis seem more chic.

You shape them very nicely, so even the long ones don't seem over the top, but I must say I like the shortest the best :) .

  62. i just want to say that i have been searching vigorously for the last 30 mins of my life to find that shade of pink that's featured on this page!THANK YOU for posting the shade! I originally found this on pinterest and I will do you the right of putting this link as well as the color of the polish so that women in the future don't have to struggle like me HAHA
