Yesterday I tried something different. I have some of the basic Konad polishes in mini sizes, and since I also have them full size, I decided to franken using the mini sized ones. I poured some of the special green polish into special yellow polish, to get the lime I wanted. I also put some green into a regular old white polish, to achieve a minty green. Both konad + konad and konad + regular mixes worked great for stamping.
I used plate m75 and both my frankened stamping polishes on top of Illamasqua Muse. Although I adore Muse, I found it hard to control. I kept flooding it into my cuticles. I hope that someday I'll be able to polish my nails flawlessly.
Finally I added some rhinestones and I was done.
This manicure reminds me of one of my favorite Pokémon, Bulbasaur.
My franken:
Bu manikürde elde ettiğim iki oje ve m75 diskindeki desenleri Illamasqua Muse üzerine uyguladım. Muse'a bayıldığım halde, sürümü biraz zor geldi.
Bulbasaur is my favorite Pokemon too! I'm totally going to need to recreate this.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see your version <3 I always adore your nails & what you do with them!
ReplyDeleteI love this combo! What brand of rhinestones do you use?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amanda =) The white ones are from the Konad set and the pink ones were ripped off of my old glass file =D
ReplyDeleteThat was a great idea. I think my Konad green is way too dark.
ReplyDeleteWas it difficult getting the Konad polish out of the bottle? Mine seems so thick, like it doesn't want to move at all, lol.
I turned the bottle upside down and shook it heavily! It came out slowly, drop by drop ;)
ReplyDeletelove ur franken..
ReplyDeleteI like this mani! Your franken is cool.
ReplyDeleteBulbasaur is super cute but my favorite pokemon is spheal :D
thank you, thriszha =)
ReplyDeletehey technopathetic, glad you like pokémon, too! spheal is so cute =D my fave pokémon are empoleon, palkia and glaceon =)
Soo pretty! I love it... Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteOk thanks. I'll have to try that :)
ReplyDeleteI franken with my konad special polish often. (usually adding white to a color for a pastel shade) But I also find if you add regular white polish to any of the China Glaze Romantique's they become pastels which stamp well also.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I love that you compared your manicure to Bulbasaur! Makes me want to do a Pokemon-inspired series of manicures. XD
ReplyDeleteMuse looks gorgeous on you!
Beautiful mani! I have a pastel green special polish, and I haven't used it yet, but maybe if I put in it yellow I'll gain a beautiful color:)
ReplyDeleteVery nice ! I love that teal color soo much!
ReplyDeletethank you everyone! also for the tips =)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I never knew you could franken Konad stamping polishes! This is such a goood news
