Finally, my China Glaze haul arrived. I'm so happy =) As you know, China Glaze put an embargo on international orders, so I asked a dear friend to help me with my order, and she was very kind to send these to me. Yay!
L to R: Matte Magic Top Coat (I ordered 3.), Electric Lilac, Glam, Spellbound Top Coat, Snow Globe.
L to R: Meteor Shower, DV8, Atlantis, 2030, Metallic Muse.
Closeups:
Snow Globe and Electric Lilac.
Glam and Spellbound Top Coat.
Atlantis and Meteor Shower.
Finally, an update on yesterday's mani, using m27 and 2030 from Khrome Collection. They say the Khromes stamp amazingly, and it's so true. They are better than the Romantique polishes, more opaque and crisp. If you can't see, the first design is the Koi fish from plate m27.
Oh my, oh my! Congrats on your new babies, they all look so beautiful and bling-y. :) I adore Meteor Shower, Atlantis & Electric Lilac... WOW! Can't wait to see them on your beautiful nails. :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! I am drooling all over myself right now! I can't wait to see more swatches!
ReplyDeletevery pretty
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love them with all my heart, especially now that they're almost HTF =)
ReplyDeleteThat fishes manicure is wonderful. It really looks like you have little oceans on your nails. I love when there is a dose of dream and magic. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nathalie =) I love magical looking things, too! I had this in my mind since I got those flakies and I was waiting for 2030. I'm definitely going to do it again some day =)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Danica =) The thing is, when I get my hands a new thing which I was waiting for a long time, I can't use it right away and I let it wait =/ I'm not someone who can't wait to try things, in the contrary, I save them for a better day, when my nails are in a good condition, etc. I've got For Audrey and Emerald Sparkle lying for 6 months now - untried! This is not a good thing, time passes and you never know what lies ahead. But I'm trying to get over this and take things more casually =) I'm definitely going to swatch them one by one, now that I have a blog! =)
ReplyDeleteI smiled when I read " I had this in my mind since I got those flakies and I was waiting for 2030". Ah ah! Do you imagine yourself waiting 21 years to finally make a manicure?
ReplyDeleteI love how Electric Lilac look. It almost make me regret that I bought Preppy Pink! Is it sheer or opaque?
You really have "For Audrey" untried for 6 months? I know that feeling to keep things always for better days. I don't do that with nail polish but I've done that and still do that with a lot of other things in my life. I'm not good at taking things casually either. And the more time pass, the more I tend to think an occasion is never good enough. There is no need to do that: life is now. So when do you wear "For Audrey", Deniz? :)
Oh Nathalie =) I was waiting for the polish "2030" by China Glaze to arrive =) The little misunderstanding made me laugh =D
ReplyDeleteBut you're so right! I have the potential to wait for 2030 I guess =D I broke open the haul by using Snow Globe, and I'm going to try all the untried one by one =) And I'm going to try For Audrey as soon as possible! Life is now and some things shouldn't be delayed, even if it's nail polish =)
Electric Lilac is really nice, the glitter looks smaller than Preppy Pink but it's really sheer =) I think about using it as over regular purple or lilac cremes!
By the way, I left a comment on your blog about nail polish thinners. Tell me what you think!
Hi there :)
ReplyDeleteI've jus discovered your blog and I have already spent an awful lot of time staring at your pictures. I love your manicures and konadicures, they're so pretty!
I couldn't help but related to you when I read what you wrote about the ChG "embargo". When I first heard about I found it was so unfair!
Luckily there are two etailers that have refused to apply the embargo so far and I have been able to buy my beloved ChG polishes from them. They are 8ty8beauty and transdesign. I haven't read your blog long enough to pick out where you are located but I hope this might help a little :)
Thank you for liking my blog, chocaddict =) Thank you for letting me know about Transdesign, I've already sent them an email regarding my question, but they didn't reply. But I'm relieved they still ship China Glaze internationally =) I live in Istanbul, btw ^-^
ReplyDeleteLots of nice glitters that you choose. I love this manicure. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you =)
ReplyDeletethank you very much1 =)
