NOTD: Rimmel London Night Flight

This might just be the star of the show. Night Flight is a dark, dark indigo creme. Actually it has a certain warmness, but it's very dark and a bit desaturated, and that makes it look cool.

It reminds me of the color of ink. I think it's a much darker and muted version of Dark Tyrian Purple. Unfortunately, I can't always find dead-on color names on Wikipedia, but I try to stay true to the hue.
The formula was consistent. I used 3 coats for this manicure. Dried fast and glossy.

I'm not much into konading these days, so I used purple/green flowers from the Essence Glitter Mix wheel to bling it up a bit. I think it turned out nicely. This might be one of my favorite manicures of all time.

  6. After seeing your post yesterday, and how great your nails looked with Rimmel's Trend Spotting - I went out and bought a few of their polishes.

I bought Trend Spotting, Reality Chic and Night Flight! So happy to see that Night Flight looks great - can't wait to try it myself. Though it looked more navy to me in the store (fluorescent lighting) - and now at home (sunlight) it looks more purple.

  12. Thank you @M 2011 =) But shouldn't it be the other way round, like "I'm following you, will you follow me?" Because that sounds conditional =)
