NOTD: In Memoriam

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas. I have some Christmas manicure ideas, which I can hopefully make happen sometime today.
Here is my Brain Tumor Awareness manicure, in memory of a great mother, a lovely wife, a beautiful friend.
Base polish is Sevilla #143. It's a medium, cool grey creme. According to Wikipedia, this one is Grey. Captain Obvious says: "You're very welcome." Grey is the color of Brain Tumor Awareness, that's why I picked it as my base color.
After two coats, I used black acrylic paint and a fine brush to draw the ribbon and write the words "Love, Hope, Cure". On my thumb, which is tiny at the moment, there is a butterfly, symbolising the Brain. (It's because the Brain resembles a butterfly.)



Support the fighters. Admire the survivors. Honor the taken. Never, ever give up hope.

Baz olarak Sevilla #143 kullandım. Soğuk tonlarda gri krem bir oje. Gri renk Beyin Kanserini temsil ettiği için gri ile başlamak istedim. İki kat sürdüm, üzerine siyah akrilik boya ve ince bir fırçayla kurdele çizdim ve "Love, Hope, Cure" (Sevgi, Umut, Şifa) kelimelerini yazdım. Baş parmağımda ise bir kelebek var, beyni sembolize ediyor. Beyin şekil olarak kelebeğe benzediği için bu şekilde düşünülüyor bildiğim kadarıyla.
